TERRY L. CATHCART Mr. Cathcart graduated from the University of Virginia (Wahoo wah!) and the University of Utah School of Law and has practiced in Bountiful. He served 23 years in US Air Force and Reserves flying the F4 and F16 fighters.
Mr. Cathcart’s focus of legal expertise is on family law including divorce, guardianships, and adoption. He is qualified as a Master Mediator.
He has served as a judge pro tempore, president of the Davis County Bar Association, and on the judicial nominating committee for the second district.
CRAIG T. PETERSON Mr. Peterson is a graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law and the University of Utah. He served as a prosecutor with the Utah Attorney General’s office and in the office of the Davis County Attorney. He left government service and has developed an eclectic private practice of criminal defense, family law and estate planning. He has defended clients charged with traffic tickets up to capital homicide in nearly every jurisdiction in Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, Utah and Box Elder counties.
L. TODD SESSIONS Mr. Sessions graduated from the University of Utah, attended law school in Lansing, MI.and Oklahoma, where he graduated with a J.D. from Oklahoma City University Law School. Prior to joining Cathcart & Peterson he was a solo practitioner for 10 years with a general practice which included, family law, criminal defense, civil litigation, probate and estate planning, personal injury, and bankruptcy. He has extensive experience in the juvenile court where he has represented parents accused of abuse and neglect and has represented juveniles on many delinquency matters.
